CDI provides knowledge-based CDL training only, including:

  • CDL written exam preparation
  • Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory instruction

CDI does not provide:

  • Behind-the-wheel training
  • On-road driving instruction
  • CDL skills testing
  • CDL licensing or endorsement issuance

All licensing decisions, testing, and certifications are determined solely by state licensing authorities and/or approved third-party providers.

3. Eligibility

By using CDI services, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age (or meet applicable legal requirements)
  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful
4. Enrollment and Access

Upon enrollment:

  • You will receive access to the selected course(s)
  • Access is provided for a defined or reasonable period as determined by CDI
  • Courses are self-paced and delivered online

CDI reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if terms are violated.

5. Tuition, Fees, and Payment

All pricing is clearly stated at the time of enrollment.

  • Payment is required prior to course access unless otherwise specified
  • Bundled or promotional pricing may be offered at CDI’s discretion
  • Optional packages (such as enhanced learning tools or devices) may be available at additional cost

All payments are final unless otherwise stated in a separate refund policy.

6. Refund Policy

Unless explicitly stated:

  • All course purchases are non-refundable
  • CDI may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds or credits in limited circumstances

Users are responsible for reviewing course details prior to enrollment.

7. Use of Services

You agree to use CDI services only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to CDI systems

9. Completion and Certification

Upon successful completion of applicable coursework:

  • CDI may issue a completion certificate or documentation

However:

  • Completion of a CDI course does not guarantee:
    • Passing any CDL written or skills examination
    • Issuance of a CDL or endorsement
    • Employment or job placement

All outcomes are determined by external authorities or employers.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

CDI provides all services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Exam outcomes or passing results
  • Employment opportunities
  • Accuracy or completeness of third-party regulatory information

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDI disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Commercial Drivers Institute (CDI) shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of income, employment opportunity, or licensing outcomes
  • Errors, omissions, or delays in service
  • System interruptions or technical failures

Your use of CDI services is at your own risk.

12. Assumption of Risk

By enrolling in CDI programs, you acknowledge that:

  • CDL training is a multi-step process involving external agencies
  • CDI provides only the knowledge-based portion of training
  • Final outcomes depend on factors beyond CDI’s control

You assume full responsibility for your progression through the CDL licensing process.

Your use of CDI services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
